I got involved in the world of counseling and therapy after I needed to seek out support. I was scared, and I didn’t know what to expect. I wondered if I was flawed or broken, and that’s why I was seeking therapy. Turns out, a lot of people benefit from therapy, from having a witness to explore their journey with them, to have a partner to hear their story, and to figure out where they want to go next. I would be honored to be considered as a partner on your journey and to help you uncover more about yourself and where you’re headed, next.

Individual Therapy
I believe that therapy is something that everyone should have access to. I partner with the following insurance providers to offer you quality mental health at affordable rates: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United and Kaiser Northern California. If you do not have any of these plans, I’m also connected with a wide range of resources that I can help you connect with so that you can access free or low cost resources that are right for you.

I am trained in the following therapy modalities: Humanistic/Client-Centered, Narrative, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I genuinely love people, learning from them and hearing their stories. Working as a therapist is something I love and look forward to doing every day that I engage in the work. It’s not a chore, it feels like a gift to get to do this work.
I’ve been working with clients since graduating with my Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling in 2007. I have experience as an adjunct lecturer in the college setting, as well as experience teaching future counselors in graduate-level courses.
